Agartala: West Tripura district administration has issued notices against all Non Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) functioning in the district asking them to submit asset details within three days.
District Magistrate (West) Kiran Gitte in notice reiterated all the NBFCs to furnish all details of their movable and immovable assets within next three days.
Altogether 13 NBFCs were served with the fresh notice on Friday. It was also decided to collect information of all 48 NBFC’s movable and immobile assets in Tripura.
Earlier, the state Finance Department issued a notification to heighten its awareness programme and crackdown operation against NBFCs in the state and said these chit fund companies or NBFCs do not have the approval of RBI and Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). (UNI)
