Rajandra Ch Marak, the Nokma of Danabollongre under Gambegre Block has accused Gram Sevak Sumit Sangma of siphoning off funds sanctioned under the Saakshar Bharat Mission for the construction of an educational facility at the village. According to the Nokma an amount of 10 lakh was sanctioned under the Saakshar Bharat Mission out of which 1 lakh was meant for wages only.
