Test trial

The Office of the Deputy Controller of Civil Defence, Shillong as a part of the commissioning of EARP equipments has proposed to carry out the test trial of the newly installed sirens in seven locations of Shillong on May 30 and 31.

Programme

Notification

Shillong Police has informed that big trucks of 10-12 tyres will not be allowed to enter and park at Mawlonghat area from 8am to 8pm. This has been done as the trucks enter Mawlonghat in the morning and are unable to exit and cause heavy traffic in the area. A lot of parking spaces are wasted. Dealers of the consumers’ good who desire to unload the goods from such trucks at Mawlonghat area are requested to do so before 8am and exit the place immediately.
