Meeting

An emergent meeting of the Shillong Cantonment Board Employees Union was held on Friday to discuss the resignation of RG Pradhan, president of the union. The meeting rejected the application for resignation with full majority and requested him to continue as the president.

Body found

One person who died after he was run over by a truck at 101 area on May 24 has not been identified as yet. He is a male, aged about 40-45 years and seems to be a Nepali. His relatives are requested to contact over the phone 2222277 or report the matter to Lumdiengjri Traffic Branch.
