NONGPOH: Concerned over the nonpayment of compensation to an affected landowner by the Power Grid Company, the FKJGP, Pahamrioh circle on Monday sought intervention of the Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner to resolve the matter.
A large number of betel trees of the affected landowner, Skallin Surong, have allegedly been destroyed by Power Grid for erection of towers.
