TURA: A one-day national seminar on entrepreneurship themed ‘A Drive towards Socio-Economic Development of North Eastern Region’ was on Tuesday organised by the Department of Management, NEHU, at the Tura NEHU Campus at Chasingre near here.
The seminar is being held with an objective to impart entrepreneurship awareness among the existing and prospective entrepreneurs.
North Tura Legislature Noverfield R Marak addressed the gathering as the chief guest. Manipur University Professor GP Prasain, who attended the seminar as the guest of honour, asserted that unemployment was the root of militancy in the Northeastern region.
