MAWKYRWAT: The Mawkyrwat District Sports Association (MDSA), South West Khasi Hills District, elected its office bearers in the General Meeting held here recently.
The elected office bearers are the Deputy Commissioner, Mawkyrwat, as president, Diverland Lyngdoh as working president, YG Lyngdoh and Wallam Syiemiong as vice-presidents and E Shylla as general secretary.
Elbok Wanniang and three others from Ranikor, Langrin and Umdohlun were elected as assistant secretaries, while Treling Marwein is the treasurer-cum-finance secretary.
The sitting MLA, MDC and Syiem of Maharam will be advisers to the association. 11 members from different clubs and sports associations will be executive members with the Treasury Officer, Mawkyrwat, as auditor.
