Training

A week long training of masons on earthquake resistant building technology is being conducted by the national institute of technology, Meghalaya in collaboration with the district disaster management authority, East Khasi Hills district and funded by the Meghalaya Basin Development Authority. The training is being conducted in two batches from June 10-15 and June 17-22 at the National Institute of Technology.

General Meeting

Casual employees of MeECL will hold their general meeting on June 15 at Jaiaw Lympyllon Community Hall at 11am.

lKhasi Jaintia Higher Secondary Adhoc School Teachers Association will hold its general meeting on June 15 at Synod Higher Secondary School at 10.30 am.

Notification

The East Khasi Hills police informed the public who ply their own local taxis and trucks in Shillong that the 8th phase of stickers with allotted numbers will be issued from June 17 to 18 from the office of the Additional Superintendent of Police (Traffic) SA Rynjah. They are to produce all valid documents pertaining to their respective vehicles with instructions to paste the said sticker on the middle portion of the left side of the windshield.

World Blood Donor Day

Meghalaya AIDS Control Society will observe World Blood Donor Day on June 14 at Don Bosco Hall from 10am onwards.
