SHILLONG: The All North East Indigenous Garo Law Promoter’s Association (ANEIGLPA) has demanded for cancellation of Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma’s scheduled tribe certificate.
While alleging that the certificate was fraudulently obtained, the group shot off a letter to Garo Hills District Commissioner urging him to cancel the certificate.
According to ANEIGLPA president Philips C Marak, the name of Mukul Sangma’s mother Roshanara Begum was changed to Roshanara Sangma.
