SHILLONG: Herobina A. Sangma lodged a complaint at Tura police station that on June 8, one minor boy (13) raped two minor girls, both aged 5 years at Nawalgre in West Garo Hills . Police arrested the juvenile and forwarded to Juvenile Home, Tura.
Meanwhile, Thiang Joh lodged a complaint at Jowai police station that on May 29 and June 2, 2013, one Paitar Sohshang raped a minor girl aged (17) at Iongnoh village in West Jaintia Hills.
In yet a another case of harassment, one Panchuila Kashung, a student of Lady Keane College, lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar police station that on June 7 at about 8.25 am, one Army personnel in uniform attempted to outrage her modesty at Rhino Cantonment area, Shillong.
