Theft cases

lOn June 12 at around 2.45 pm, D. Nonglang, Security Inspector, NEHU Campus, Shillong apprehended one Oxijen Marwein while stealing a water tap from a building at NEHU Campus. Police arrested the accused.

lOn June 12 at about 12.30 am, a group of unidentified miscreants armed with daggers entered the house of one Sujit Wahlang at Shella in East Khasi Hills and looted cash Rs. 70,000 and gold ornaments valued around Rs 1,20,000.

lOn the night of June 11, unknown miscreants broke into the grocery shop of one Ajit Kundu at Williamnagar Super Market and stole grocery items.

lOn June 10 at about 8 pm, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (AS-17D-4959) belonging to one Delber Hoque, from his residence at Nimaikata village in West Garo Hills.

lOn June 11 at about 5.30 pm, unknown miscreants stole one SBBL gun (No. 27389-1984) belonging to Eyas Khariap from his residence at Mawryngkneng.

Cheating case

B.S Appo Rao lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar police station that on March 8, he received an SMS informing that Rs 26,626 has been debited from his ICICI Bank Account.

Murder cases

lOn June 11 at around 11.30 pm, one Santosh Basnet murdered Damber Karki at Lamarsiang village in East Jaintia Hills . Police arrested the accused.

lOn June 11, police arrested one Bani Sana (28) in connection with Khliehriat police station murder case.

Trespass

On June 10 around 10 pm, unidentified miscreants forcibly entered inside the premises of Tourist Lodged at Baghmara and harassed the labourers working at the premises
