JOWAI: A Police personnel, UB Constable 211, Shabok Nongkhlaw of Sohryngkham village posted at Lumshnong Anti Dacoity Camp died before reaching Khliehriat CHC on being rushed after he was hit by a truck at a place near Chiehruphi village on Friday morning.
According to Sub-Inspector A Rymbai in charge of Lumshnong Anti Dacoity Camp, there was a collision between a truck (RJ021G-5475) and a Maruti Alto in which Nongkhlaw was travelling. Immediately, the injured cop was rushed to Khliehriat CHC and he was declared brought dead by the Doctors at the CHC.
The funeral will be held on Sunday at Sohryngkham.
