Employees allege nonpayment of dues

 WILLIAMNAGAR: The DBAs and DEOs appointed by the Nevaeh Technology Company to conduct Socio Economic and Caste Census (SECC) 2011 under Songsak Community and Rural Development Block in East Garo Hills has come down heavily on the company for not paying their honorarium due to them.

Stating that two DBAs and seventy one DEOs had been appointed by the Nevaeh Company to conduct SECC for the year 2011 with an honorarium of Rs 10, 000 and Rs 7, 000 respectively, Nickoer D Arengh a DBA under Songsak Block alleged that the company has till date not paid a rupee to them.

Even though it has been quite a while since the SECC has been completed the company has refused to pay us the honorarium he stated and added that they had approached the Songsak Block Development Officer regarding the payment of their dues and found out that the State Coordinator or SECC had reportedly not disbursed their honorarium yet.

The DBAs and DEOs have sought the intervention of State authorities on the matter.
