SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Minerals Exporters Chamber of Commerce Mawlong Ichamati Lime Stone Quarry Association has threatened to take legal remedy if the PWD does not repair the Wahjapur Bridge in East Khasi Hills.

The two groups also submitted a petition to the Chief Enginer PWD (Roads) to repair the road immediately as the bridge broke down three times in the last one month. The groups added that the communication link between Ichamati and Bholaganj Land Custom Station to Bangladesh has suffered tremendously.
