SHILLONG: Though the Meghalaya High Court last month quashed the appointment of Loma Jyrwa as the Mission Director of State Resource Centre for Women and cited the alleged role of Director Social Welfare H. Shangplinag in the appointment, Jyrwa is still continuing as the Mission Director.

According to sources, despite the Court making the appointment of Jyrwa null and void through its May 27 judgment, the Government is yet to act on the judgment.

Soon after the verdict, the petitioner Angela Rangad had asked the Chief Secretary WMS Pariat to take action against Jyrwa and Shangpliang.
