For the second time in

six months,

Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi is in trouble for allegedly punching and assaulting his neighbour, police said here Friday.

This time, Pancholi, 48, has been booked – but not arrested yet – for attacking his 55-year-old neighbour and educationist Bhargav Patel Thursday, an official of the Versova police station said.

Pancholi has been slapped with various charges following a CCTV footage of the incident provided by Patel, the complainant.

The incident happened late June 19 when an allegedly inebriated Pancholi pounced on Patel over a minor parking brawl, at their housing society in the posh Versova area of north-west Mumbai.

This is the second incident involving the duo in the past six months, according to police.

The last incident happened Jan 15. Irked by some renovation going on at Patel’s home, Pancholi came with some men, and allegedly dragged and assaulted him.

Patel had lodged a written complaint, but no offence was lodged against his neighbour, known in the past to frequently lose his cool over trivial issues.

The family has been in news in recent weeks after Sooraj, son of Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, was booked by police on charges of allegedly abetting the suicide of Bollywood actress Nafisa alias Jiah Khan. He is currently in judicial custody till July 11. (IANS)
