SHILLONG: The KSU and FKJGP have submitted a joint petition to the Director General of All India Radio (AIR) have expresses its strong opposition with regards to the recent concluded examination for the posts of Programme Executives & Transmission Executives, which has attracted a lot of criticism from the tribal candidate’s of the North East in general, and Meghalaya in particular.
They said that some of the candidates were made to understand that the concerned department had advised them to select Hindi in Paper – II for the time being, so, these candidates had chosen Hindi hoping that the concern department will rectify the problem at a later date.
As per the advertisements, he said that vacancies for the post of Transmission Executives for Meghalaya are Khasi (5 posts) Garos (four posts) and Jaintia (one post).
