SHILLONG: Sports and Youth Affairs Minister, Zenith M Sangma, along with South West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Sing and local legislator of Mankachar, Assam, Javed Islam, held peace meetings at three places – Ichaguri, Dakergaon and Jonjona in South West Garo Hills on the Assam-Meghalaya Border on Thursday.
Both Sangma and Islam appealed to the people belonging to various communities to contribute to restore peace and communal harmony.
