NONGSTOIN: The Western Youth Federation (WYF) has given a 15 day ultimatum to the Govt to repair the road between Nongstoin and Sohpian failing which, they would resort to office picketing and road blockade.

Earlier, the WYF members met the PWD Minister Sngewbahlang Dhar and the Chief Engineer (National Highway) H W Momin to pursue the repair of the Nongstoin- Sohpian road. However, as there was no response from their end, they were compelled to declare a deadline, P S Shangrit, president of the WYF said.

Shangrit said that the stretch of road from Nongstoin to Sohpian is in urgent need of repair. Earlier in April, the FKJGP Nongstoin Circle had threatened a road blockade if the same road was not repaired immediately.
