Rape

A woman lodged a complaint that her daughter (20) was raped by her step-father, Hober Buam in their residence at Amlarem (WJH). Police arrested the accused.

Molestation

A woman of Nehru Park, Tura (WGH), lodged a complaint that during the last one year, one Withingson Ch. Marak molested her minor daughter (7).

Assault

One Madhumita Dey of MES 121/3, Shillong lodged a complaint that on July 4, her husband, Sudip Deb tortured her physically and mentally.

Weapons seized

On July 4, CRPF Patrolling party apprehended one Kamal Magas and recovered the following from his possession: one 9 mm Browning pistol, eleven 9 mm live ammunitions, magazine, mobile phones, PWD Office ID Card, motorcycle key and cash Rs. 5,135.

Theft

One Saread Bawri of Lifeline Enterprise, GS Road lodged a complaint that on July 4 at around 11:30 am, his employee, Albert Sangma absconded along with Rs. 5 lakh.

lOn July 3 night, unknown miscreants broke into an electronic shop at Iawpynsin, Ummulong (WJH) and stole mobile phones and other electronic items.

lOn July 3, unknown miscreants stole one Bolero (ML-04B-4062) belonging to one Evening Dkhar from Datsimpein Ladrymbai (EJH).

Abduction

On July 4 at around 8 pm, a truck driver of Virgo Cements, Jingku Rai and his handyman, Sombaru Rai were reported missing after the truck was found abandoned at 9th Mile, Dalu (WGH). They are suspected to have been abducted by unidentified miscreants.

Threat case

On July 2, one Kamla Verma threatened Lokon Narjary with dire consequences at Pegasus Hotel.

lOne Ratan S Mutyent lodged a complaint that on July 2 at around 11.30 pm, one Richard Lyngdoh alias Mamu threatened the residents of the Riatsamthiah locality with dire consequences. Police arrested the accused.
