Kashyap to attend coaches’ training

SHILLONG: Randajied United FC’s chief coach Santosh Kasyap is among the 14 coaches selected to participate in the first-ever AFC Professional Diploma Licence Course in India which will kickoff at the Cooperage Football Ground in Mumbai from Monday.

The Course will be conducted by National Coach Wim Koevermans and a reputed UEFA pro-license instructor from Europe will be the Course Instructor. Koevermans will be assisted by Bader Ahmed Shah, facilitator from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) while AIFF Technical Director Robert Baan will also be present on the occasion. The Course will conclude on July 28.

“Such programmes are very important to gain confidence and more knowledge. It’s happening all over the world,” Kashyap said.
