NONGPOH: Turning guns at Urban Affairs Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh for resorting to cheap politics in the tussle of personal difference with former Urban Affairs Minister Paul Lyngdoh, RBYF Central Body general secretary L K Sawkmie urged Ampareen to stop venting out her frustration and turning the two poorly paid women into scapegoats in her selfish quest of registering her reign at the helm of affairs.

The Ri Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF) Central Body on Friday, threatened to intensify their agitational programme till the State Government reinstated Hundalin Warjri and Subita Lapang, the two casual workers in MUDA’s office Byrnihat while at the same time condemning the barbaric raid conducted by the police in the residence of central body president B B Makdoh at Mawrong near Umsning last night.

Talking to The Shillong Times, Sawkmie appealed to the general public of the district to extend their cooperation to the body in the ongoing agitational programme as they are fighting for the rights of the people of the district.

The RBYF also accused the State Government of depriving the educated unemployed youths of the district from getting jobs in government departments.
