The District Selection Committee, East Khasi Hills have informed that the written test for the post of Naib Subedar/ Platoon commander will be held on July 20. Candidates who have not yet received the call letter may contact the office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills in Room No. 201.

The FKJGP East Khasi Hills District recently formed the FKJGP Nongkrem Circle with Wanshan Kharmudai as president, Wadbor Kharmutee as vice president and Raynold Giri Kharsyntiew as general secretary besides other members.

The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has informed that SK Oil for July 2013 has been released and will be distributed through the retailers to all the family identity card holders in urban and rural areas.
Function
The Association of Taekwondo Martial Art (ATMA) will observe the death anniversary of U Tirot Sing Syiem on July 17 at RB Anupchand High School, Keating Road from 2pm onwards. The ATMA has also decided to felicitate the newly-elected MLAs of East Khasi Hills along with officials of the Pasteur Beat House for earning the honour of the Best Police Station in Meghalaya and also Master Chandan Kumar Rai for having secured the highest marks in Hindi in the recently declared SSLC results.
