Mukul to visit South Africa

New Delhi: Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma will be leaving for South Africa on July 29 from Delhi to attend meetings on Goods & Services Tax (GST).

Apart from Dr Sangma, a few other chief ministers and state finance ministers would also be part of the visiting team.

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi was scheduled to travel to South Africa but has made himself unavailable.

During the official trip, the delegation will visit all States and provinces of that country. They will also meet top government officials dealing with taxation, official sources said.
