Local lad vies for top dancing spot

 SHILLONG: After Amit Paul and Shillong Chamber Choir who made it to the national level reality shows, now a young talented dancer from Meghalaya, Palden Lama Mawroh has made it to the final of India’s biggest dance reality show India’s Dancing Superstar hosted by Star Plus.

Palden Lama Mawroh from Meghalaya and his Delhi based counterpart, Khyati has mesmerized one and all with their combination as dance partners.

The duo decided to grab the opportunity when the new season of India’s biggest dance reality show India’s Dancing Superstar kicked off.

The dancing partners showcased their combined talent before the juries and reached top 24 of the competition.

But their dreams were dashed when the duo were eliminated from the reality show but they received a blessing in disguised when judges opted to give them a wild card entry back into the show.

After the opportunity, the dancing partners made the most of the opportunities and their performances improved significantly and their confidence took a new height.

The duo finally reached the final of the competition that will be aired on Star Plus on August 3.

Palden Lama Mawroh is a trainee pilot and he has proved his dominance over various forms of dance such as Contemporary, Ballad and Ariel.
