Suspected Bangladeshi nationals arrested

 JOWAI: BSF personnel of the 98th Battalion posted at Sunapur for regular vehicle checking arrested 10-suspected Bangladeshi Nationals and seized explosive materials, mobile phones Indian Currency and Bangladesh currency besides other items.

The BSF personnel arrested all the suspected Bangladeshi nationals and detected the explosive material in a vehicle ML04A-4656 driven by one Daioki Sutnga heading toward Barak Valley Assam on Saturday last. The arrested persons have been identified as Sami Mohamed (28), Md. Salim Ahmed (19). Md. Komal, Aktaf Ali, Rahim Uddin, Md. Durzai, Jamal Uddin, Abdul Ahak and Abul Hussein.

BSF also seized Rs, 73075 INR and Rs. 20 Bangla Taka, 13 mobile phones, 90 Neo-gel sticks, 20 CL2 explosives, 20 electronic detonators, 1 rechargeable lantern and one DVD Player from their possession.

The Court has remanded them to Judicial custody.
