BJP to take up boundary issue

 SHILLONG: The BJP parliamentary board has decided to take up the larger issues of inter-state boundary and law and order situation in Garo Hills among others as part of exposing the wrong doings of the Congress-led coalition government in the State.

This assurance was given by BJP leader and Lok Sabha member Ramen Deka during his meeting with the BJP leaders of Meghalaya on Friday.

The BJP MP was in Shillong to discuss the political scenario of the state with the senior party members. The members discussed the Inter-state boundary issues, law and order situation in

Garo Hills, issues related to the functioning of private universities especially the CMJ University controversy, ICDS scheme for children, implementation of National Population Register

(NPR) and the alleged flawed style of functioning of NEIGRIHMS.

Deka assured that the BJP parliamentary board will discuss these issues and ensure that necessary action is taken accordingly.
