Mukul inaugurates multi-facility centre

 SHILLONG: Chief Minister, Dr Mukul Sangma on Friday inaugurated the Multi-Facility Centre at Nirghini village under Betasing C&RD Block near Ampati.

The Multi-Facility Centre was constructed by the Border Areas Development Department at a total cost of Rs 30 lakh under the Special Plan Assistance Scheme.

Addressing the gathering Dr Sangma said that development is being brought to the State in a convergence mode with an aim to lift the living standards of the people by promoting various sustainable livelihood generation activities through the government’s flagship programme, the Integrated Basin Development and Livelihood generation Programme (IBDLP).
