Pala elected as VC of NPF

 New Delhi: The North East MPs’ Forum on Monday unanimously elected Shillong MP Vincent H Pala as its vice-chairman and felicitated recently elected Rajya Sabha member Wansuk Syiem.

Pala, a former Union Minister, replaced Thoams Sangma who had resigned as an MP to contest the last Assembly polls in Meghalaya. Wansuk subsequently succeed him.

Mukut Mithi, former Aruanachal Pradesh Chief Minister, is the chairman of the NEMF with MPs from the eight states as members.
