Govt to appoint MPSC members first

 SHILLONG: The wait for the appointment of a Chairman for the MPSC will be longer as the State Government is now looking only at the appointment of its members.

The Government will ensure the appointment of five members to MPSC first, before appointing the full fledged Chairman, the Chief Secretary WMS Pariat recently told reporters. According to Pariat till the appointment of a Chairman which is being examined by the Government, the State Government will see that MPSC functions with five members.
