SHILLONG: Five unidentified persons on Friday evening assaulted the managing director of The Shillong Club, Suresh Singh, and also ransacked his office on the Club premises.
Police have started their investigation in the assault case that occurred at around 4.15 pm. Singh, who sustained injuries, was shifted to Civil Hospital, Shillong.
The managing board of Shillong Club Ltd. has, meanwhile, condemned the assault on the Club’s managing director.
