SHILLONG: Seven passengers were forced out of a vehicle by KSU members from Trongpleng village on Friday evening.

The passengers were, however, released on the same evening. The police later arrested two suspects, Sanborli Dkhar and John Syiemlieh, for interrogation following a complaint lodged by the driver of the Mahindra Maxx vehicle, Moonstar Lyngdoh Nonglait. The tourist vehicle operated between Shillong and Nongjri.
