Theft

On August 31 at around 12.30 pm, one maid servant (17) stole gold ornaments and clothes valued around Rs. 1,01,000 from the house of her employer at Bajengdoba (NGH) and fled away.
On August 30 at around 9.30 pm, unidentified miscreants looted one cell-phone and Rs 2,07,000  from one Ojoy Kumar Gupta (19) at Nongjri (SWKH).

On August 29 night, unidentified miscreants broke into the house of one Diamond Dkhar at Ladthalaboh, Jowai (WJH) and stole gold ornaments valued around Rs. 64,000 and cash Rs. 30,000.

Threat case

On August 30 at about 1 pm, one Don Dhai threatened his family members with dire consequences at Nartiang village (WJH). Police have arrested the accused.

On August 29 at around 7.30 pm, one Tiplang Tariang threatened Bisaimon Tariang with dire consequences at Rymbai (EJH).

Murder attempts

On August 22, when a girl who is a student of Raksamgre Secondary School (WGH) was on the way to her school, three unidentified persons wrongfully restrained and attempted to attack her. Again on August 26, the same miscreants pelted stones at her house at Jangrapra (NGH) and attempted to murder her.

Impersonation

On August 12 and 13, one Kishan B Marak impersonated himself as an employee of MeECL, served fake electricity bills to one Montu M Sangma at Dakopgre, Tura (WGH) and fraudulently realized Rs. 7,500.
