Boxers selected for upcoming State championship

 SHILLONG: The boxing coaching camp organised by the East Khasi Hills Boxing Association, which began on July 29, came to a close recently in the city with an announcement of the names of the boxers chosen to take part in the upcoming State Boxing Championship, a press release from the EKHBA said on Tuesday.

Amongst these selected candidates, 10 of them are boys and seven are girls.

Boys: Kesaiah Shullai, Mahesh Rasali, Lavon Lyngdoh, Rohit Rasaing, Kamal Thapa, Hidden Star Marbaniang, Rocky Snaitang, Kenny Lawai, Teibor Khyriem and Wellborn Kharsati.

Girls: Wanri Kharkongor, Ibalarisha Lyngwa, Iphidamon Dohling, Mohini Rymbai, Eva Marbaniang and Rebecca Kharsahnoh.

The pugilists were coached by Andy Rumnong under the guidance of manager Denisstar Marwein.
