Office picketing on Saturday

 SHILLONG: Intensifying their agitation for introduction of ILP system in the state to regulate the entry of outsiders, the pro-ILP activists have announced office picketing on Saturday following Government’s decision to declare it a working day.

Informing this here on Thursday, KSU vice president Federick Kharmawphlang said the 10 pressure groups also decided change the timing of ongoing night road blockade following a request from a section of church bodies. The night road blockade now will be effective from 10pm instead of 9 pm.

Kharmawphlang also came down on police for misusing the 108 Ambulance on law and order duty.
