Nangkiew Irat win 4-1 in SPL

SHILLONG: Nangkiew Irat SC were comfortable winners over Pohkseh SS&CC in their Shillong Premier League match at the JN Sports Complex, Polo, on Wednesday.

Nangkiew’s four goals came through four different players.

Nnamdi Stephan Harry opened the scoring in the 21st minute, but it was not until the second half that another goal was scored.

Norasius Kharumnuid doubled the lead in the 56th minute before Dayananda Singh scored in the 74th.

Barrister Rymbai then pulled one back for Pohkseh in the 83rd minute, but Chukwunonso made it 4-1 for Nangkiew Irat in the 86th minute.

Thursday’s match will see Langsning FC take on Mawlai SC.

In the Second Division, Laitumkhrah drew 1-1 with Ryntih and the former have qualified for the First Division along with Laban.
