District Level workshop on Aquaculture

NONGPOH: The Office of the Superintendent of Fishery, Ri-Bhoi, Nongpoh on Friday held a District Level Workshop-cum-Orientation programme for spreading awareness about the Meghalaya State Aquaculture Mission scheme implemented by the State Government for uplifting aquaculture in the State.

The programme, which was held at the Nongpoh community hall, was attended by farmers from Umsning, Jirang and Umling Block.

The farmers were briefed about the different schemes in place under the Mission meant for giving a boost to aqauculture in the State.
