Trainees felicitated

SHILLONG: Twenty two trainees of the 40th Batch Field Assistant Training course 2012-13 including fourteen from the Soil & Water Conservation Department, one from KHADC, four from JHADC and three from GHADC were on Friday felicitated in a programme held at CTI Auditorium, Byrnihat.

The course was for 11 months and the subjects taken during the training were soil science, soil & water conservation engineering, survey and leveling, forest measuretion, forest utilization, forest law, wildlife, forest silviculture, account & procedures and study tours.
