Manish Tewari to attend ST anniversary celebration

SHILLONG: The Shillong Times is celebrating its 69th anniversary on September 24 at Hotel Pinewood, Shillong, at 6 pm. A panel discussion on the theme ‘Is media the conscience keeper of the nation’ is being organised on the occasion. The panelists include Paul Lyngdoh, MLA, RG Lyngdoh, Vice Chancellor, Martin Luther Christian University, Dr Sukalpa Bhattacharjee of NEHU, Pradyot Manikya Debbarman, Editor, The Northeast Today and David Laitphlang, President, Shillong Press Club. Partho Chakraborty, Programme Executive, DDK Shillong, will moderate the panel discussion.

Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Manish Tewari, will attend as special guest while Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma will be the chief guest.
