CMJ pays Rs 82, 460 as hotel bill

SHILLONG: The controversial chancellor of CMJ University CM Jha has paid Rs 82, 460 as hotel bill.

Jha, who was in city to appear before Meghalaya police in connection with the alleged irregularities in the functioning of the university, stayed in luxurious Hotel Pinewood from September 18.

Jha checked out on Saturday at 11am, hotel sources said adding that he paid the full amount in cash.

Police had earlier frozen Jha’s all bank accounts.
