National workshop concludes

SHILLONG: The weeklong National Workshop on Maintenance of Opto-Analytical Instrument – 2013 (NWMOAI-13) which was held at St. Anthony’s College concluded on Saturday.

Social Welfare Minister Deborah C Marak while addressing as the chief guest during the valedictory function lauded the role of St. Anthony’s College Chemistry department for holding this workshop of practical importance.

She also appreciated the setting up of the new Glass Blowing Unit in the college which would be able to put waste glass into useful purposes.

The department of Chemistry of St Anthony’s College organised this workshop in collaboration with the Western Regional Instrumentation Centre (WRIC), Mumbai and sponsored by the State Council of Science Technology and Environment (SCSTE) and Meghalaya Co-operative Apex Bank.
