Kohima: The General Secretary of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) Central office Thupusato Vamuzo (Boshi), son of former Nagaland Chief Minister late Vamuzo passed away at Christian Institute of Health Sciences & Research (CIHSR), Dimapur yesterday after a brief illness.
He was 41 and survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter. Born on 17.7.1972, Boshi served as the people of Nagaland along with his father from the regional party, for which he was popularly called as Boshi.
After even death of his father Vamuzo, he was serving the party in various capacities and elevated to General Secretary.
Boshi was also a successful businessman in his own right, it said, at the same time, he followed the footsteps of his “illustrious” father and gave his mind and soul to public service.
He was an active youth leader of the NPF party at the time of his death. His untimely death is a great loss to the NPF party and the Chakhesang community, the message said.
The Chief Minister further extended his heartfelt condolences to the wife, two sons, mother, and other family members of the deceased. (UNI)
