SHILLONG: The district-level Art and Cultural competition was held at Seng Khasi Secondary School, Jaiaw on Tuesday with an aim to revive and preserve the culture and traditions of the society.

Organised by the District Art and Cultural Society, DC’s Office, East Khasi Hills, this programme aims to motivate the student and youth to learn and spread the rich culture and traditions of the society.

Various competitions like painting, cartooning and creative writing, folk song, folk dance, indigenous instrumental and quiz were organized in the junior and senior categories.
