TURA: The Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) Rongram Circle, has demanded the installation of an ATM counter as well as the commissioning of a 108 Service Ambulance at Rongram, located 15 kilometres from Tura.

Informing this here in a statement, the FKJGP Rongram Circle said that till date there was not even a single ATM booth at Rongram adding that the presence of an SBI Branch was not enough to meet the needs of the people considering the large portion of area that it covers.

The Federation, further, pointed out that due to the absence of a 108 Service Ambulance at Rongram the people of the region were facing numerous problems in times of emergencies.
