GNLA bandh ends peacefully

TURA: The two-day dawn-to-dusk Garo Hills bandh called by the banned GNLA ended on Thursday evening without any untoward incidents being reported from any part of the region, even as security forces remained in a state of high alert given the threat of retaliation by the outfit on violators.
