JOWAI: Following four months of his mysterious death, the mother of late Lakhon Suchiang, Drinskin Suchiang of Mowkaiaw village lodged a complaint with Jowai police suspecting that her son was murdered by some unknown miscreants.
The body of Lakhon Suchiang, a Class XII student was found inside his vehicle on May 19 morning. The vehicle was parked near an automobile workshop opposite Woodland Diagnosis centre at Ladthadlaboh. Inside the vehicle, a headless snake was also found lying dead in the dashboard.
West Jaintia Hills Suprintendent of Police, Herbert G Lyngdoh, informed that based on the complaint, a case has been registered and investigations are on.
“We are still waiting for autopsy and forensic reports”, the SP said adding that once they received these reports, a clearer picture of the case would come forward.
