NGOs appeal for arrested student’s release

TURA: The Mikpinpan NGO Challenged Association (MNGOCA) along with other NGOs have appealed for the release of a blind student, Luckson S Sangma and others who were arrested for allegedly being part of a group that reportedly assaulted the employees of the Tura DC’s Office during the first day of the GHSMC sponsored bandh recently demanding the creation of a separate Garoland State.

The MNGOCA accompanied by other NGOs on September 23 last jointly met the West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner, Pravin Bakshi in his office chamber and made the appeal.
