SHILLONG: The district administration of East Khasi Hills has lodged a complaint against 15 members of CSWO, KWWADA for violation of Section 144 CrPC.

Informing this, East Khasi Hills SP M Kharkrang on Wednesday said the case has been registered and police were probing the matter.

“Action will be taken as per law,” Kharkrang added.

It may be mentioned that Pro-ILP agitation turned violent last week when some unruly members of two women’s organizations — Khasi Women Welfare and Deve lopment Association (KWWDA) and the Civil Society Women’s Organization (CSWO) — pelted stones on the on-duty police personnel injuring six of them including five female cops.
