The Iewpomtiah Sports and Cultural Organisation, Nongkrem celebrated the 145th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi by organising a race amongst the locality members.

Agarwal Samaj of Shillong celebrated the Agrasen Jayanti to pay homage to Agrasenjee Maharaj. The celebration included felicitation of young Agarwal youths of Shillong who have excelled in their respective fields.
