Apropos to the news item published on the daily on October 2 under the headline “Attempt to set ablaze vehicle, one held’, the Dorbar Shnong Nongrim Hills has clarified that the arrested person, Kyrmenlang Shylla is not the resident of Nongrim Hills as claimed by the police.
Festival
The Arunachal Students’ Union Shillong will celebrate the All Arunachal Tribe Festival for five days with different programmes like beauty contest, sports meet besides others. The festival is set to start on October 6 at Arunachal Bhavan.
